Be On Time

ree

Hello Kings and Queens.

Welcome to my blog if you're new or welcome back if you're regular!

This post is strictly for my clients only. I wanted to explain a little further on why I am implanting this new policy so you can better understand that this is to benefit all of us!

I'm going to give you a scenario based on why I decided to implement this policy as strictly as I am. Imagine as a service provider you have 5 clients booked back to back. 10am | 12pm | 2pm | 4pm | 6pm each service is 2 hours long. Say Client 2pm is 10 minutes late.. that means I won't finish filling this client until 4:10pm causing me to be 10 minutes late for Client 4pm & 6pm EVEN THOUGH client 4pm & 6pm were on time. Client 4pm & 6pm are upset and you compensate with a small discount for appreciation of their patience. So now you are paying client 4pm & 6pm for client 2pms lateness.

I've decided that now if you are 5 minutes late more then 2 times you will be charged $15.00 PLUS TAX. Things happen, traffic can be hard to dodge, collisions, dog got out...I get it, but this all can be prevented by allowing yourself extra time to get to your appointment when booking.

If you are 10 minutes late it becomes very difficult to complete your set. Within 10mins I can fill up to 30% of your lashes but will not allow myself to cause inconvenience to my next client due to you being late so I will still continue your service with a warning that I may not have time to fill them as full and that we will be ending our appointment as scheduled.

If you are 15mins or over I consider this automatically as a no show, even if you are on your way you will be asked to rebook and pay a fee from 50%-100% of the appointment. 15 minutes is too much time lost I wont even consider filling your lashes as I could have been 40% done your lashes and theres no sense in starting.

As a small business/entrepreneur it is really hard to implement new policies without almost feeling guilty as I dont want to have to charge my clients fees at all. Thats why I post about this so people can understand that this isn't a money grab, these are boundries that must be respected. This is a lively hood and my days are scedueled specifically for a reason. I respect you and your time and also agree that this goes both ways! I never had problems compensating for inconvience or lateness on my part and I expect others do to the same.

It's just as simple as be on time or even 5 minutes early to your appointments. Allow yourself time to use the washroom, park, grab food or whatever you need to do to have the best experience as well as show up for the time you're expected.

That being said, I wanted to thank all of my clients that are always on time and are consistanly loyal to supporting my small buisness. It doesn't go unnoticed and I appreciate each and every one of you!

Sincerely, Missy B Beauty
